About

Welcome to Westwood Village—a vibrant and historic commercial district on the Westside of Los Angeles.

The Westwood Village Improvement Association (BID) is a non-profit, property-based assessment district committed to keeping the Village clean, safe, and welcoming through maintenance, security, and community programming.

With a 13-member Board of Directors representing property owners, merchants, and a UCLA representative, the WVIA guides the district’s growth and vitality. The Board actively engages in district-wide initiatives and considers key issues such as city planning, zoning, parking, events, and other services that support tenant recruitment, retention, and investment.

Assessments collected from property owners directly fund programs that enhance the district—cleanliness, safety, beautification, parking and traffic management, communications, and special projects.

Our mission is to strengthen Westwood Village by improving safety, supporting business success, attracting new tenants and visitors, and ensuring the community continues to thrive as a destination for everyone.
